Village Hall Closed Until Further Notice

In response to the State of Emergency declared by Governor DeWine on Monday, March 9, 2020 and with consideration to actions and recommendations from local, state and federal authorities the decision has been made to close Smithville Village Hall to the public. While we are closing Village Hall, all essential services will continue to be provided.   COVID-19, the disease caused by coronavirus has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization. While hoping for the best, we must prepare ourselves for the worst. This means taking necessary steps, logistically preparing to do what we can to mitigate the risk in our local community, while attempting to preserve as much of normal life as possible. This action will limit direct contact with Village employees and reduce the risk of employees being required to self-quarantine themselves.  Individuals can continue to conduct business by phone or through the drop box located in the lobby of Village Hall.
